This Is The Era Of Embodiment

Congruence between what you’re saying and how you feel in your body while you say it can no longer be an afterthought.

I can’t tell you how many times my clients have said things like “I’ve tried all the ways, all the different approaches and strategies, and still nothing changes. He doesn’t hear me.”

Firstly, it goes without saying that being with a partner who wants to hear you is essential.

Secondly, I’d like to direct you to your body and ask you to get deeply honest about the stories running through your mind and the feelings coursing through your body as you speak to him.

When you say I trust you, as a gimmick and attempt to persuade and masculate him for example, as you think and feel otherwise, his animal body knows (big ups to Kasia Urbaniak for painting this picture crystal clear in her book, A Woman’s Power Unbound).

When you ask him to be more present with the kids while telling him how much they love being with him because he’s such a good dad, but inside you’re really thinking and feeling resentful thoughts, his animal body knows.

When you ask him if he’s ready for a commitment and that if he’s not you’re ready to move on, but the truth is you feel like you can’t live without him, his animal body knows.

This is the era of embodiment.

It’s no longer about what you say or what you know, it’s about who you’re being.

The truth of who you be, is always felt by those around you.

Congruency is your highest currency when it comes to the way you communicate.

This is going to be one of the powerful practices we explore inside of Devotion in the month of July.

Will you be joining us?

With love,

Diana
