If you’re reading this, you’re probably a lot like me. You love being in control.
…but the question is, what are you willing to do to have some over your life?
I’m sure by now, you’ve read enough articles and heard enough people say that your thoughts and your perspective create your reality. Call it Universal Law, or the Power of Attraction, everyone’s talking about it.
And depending where you’re at in life, and what your situation is you either love or hate this idea.
My guess is, if you feel like you’re living life exactly the way you want to (but really, how many people are?) and you feel like you got it going on, you’re going to be more than happy to take credit for the awesome life you’re living.
But, if you feel like you’re in a shitty place, you might be a little hesitant to succumb to this idea – and maybe even resentful to it.
The thing is, the idea that your life is a result of your thoughts, choices, actions and beliefs isn’t a condemnation – it’s your saviour. It means that you’re in CONTROL and that you have the ability to stay in the life you’re in, or to CHANGE it.
Let’s be honest. Many of us don’t encounter any real obstacles (besides our own selves of course). But, I know very well that some people find themselves in unimaginably difficult situations for reasons that may seem (or may be) completely out of their control. But the thing is, no matter what happens to us, we always have a choice in how we deal with it. Even in situations that seem absolutely hopeless – we still have the choice of whether we let it eat away at our souls, or whether we choose the road of serenity.
